Yes, in addition to the first monthly payment, a small security deposit of $25 is due upon signing our rental lease. This is refundable only if unit is swept clean, in good order (undamaged) and full balance is paid when vacating. Any debris left outside the unit needs to be removed as well.

Yes, CDSS requires a 24hr. notice that you are vacating the unit. Be sure to leave the unit clean/swept out and any debris outside the unit removed to receive your deposit back.

CDSS will maintain clearing the main driveway access between and around the storage buildings (as deemed necessary) to maintain full access. If there is only a dusting or inch of snow, we may not bother plowing it as it can cause more damage than good to the driveway and most vehicles with good tires can drive through it. Use common sense, if it looks unsafe, maybe wait to try another day or give us a ring.

It is the responsibility of the unit lessor (person occupying unit) to remove snow and ice immediately in front of their unit, if they would like to access it in the winter. This area may extend out to where the driveway is plowed, if need be.  We recommend only doing this if you are physically capable and conditions are deemed safe to do so. Again, use common sense. If it’s 0 degrees out and it’s an ice storm, maybe wait for a warmer time. 🙂
